so I'm pretty new to exhaust stuff and I wanted to get more sound, with out spending an absorbent amount of money. I've decided to go with changing the muffler. What exactly would I be purchasing. Would it be 2 magnaflow mufflers along with some 3" piping and install fees? Are the dual exhaust
for the cooper s just 2 regular exhausts connected? Or are they a specific type of system.

Thanks for helping a n00b. If anyone had done this. Some prices would be great. I was think the mufflers and piping would be 250 and install 150? I need to call for some quotes still but I wanted to be a little more knowledgable on what I'm asking about before I call.

If you JUST want sound.. only replace the mufflers.. That would be the price of a muffler (usually around 100) and installation, probably around 75..

If you want to change all the tubing from cat cat-back it will cost you around 250-300 install would be my guess
