DT Bypass valve and VGS (Settled ! )

Hi guyz,

got one question over here.

I did the VGS before i bought DT bypass valve

Now i got the DT bypass valve.

Just want to ask whether should i remove the VGS when i install the DT bypass valve or just leave it there?

Thanks guyz ..

I have the same question. I know how it works, the DT BPV has a firmer spring to eleminate the wah-wah. And the VGS diverts vacume from the fuel pressure regulator right. So the real question is, does the FPR have the correct pressure to operate the DT-BPV???

I have had the Valve for about 6 months and I would say yes, but I havn't tried the without the VGS.

Guyz,

I removed the VGS and installed the DT bypass valve.
I got serious trouble over here

After i installed everything, My boost meter show 0.5 bar (before fit bypass valve was 1.2 bar)

Is it i fit incorrectly and the boost leak or it needs time to adjust?

Hope to hear you guyz soon.

Thanks.

The VGS sources vacuum for the BPV after the supercharger, as opposed to the stock setup that gets it before the supercharger.
The vacuum connections at the FPR are used for the VGS because it is relatively easy to get to. The FPR has nothing to do with the operation of the BPV, they both require vacuum to work, but that's about all they have in common.

The valve needs no time to adjust, you have a leak somewhere. Go back over all the things you took apart to install the valve.
