Drivetrain Automatic transmission and High horsepower?
I got an e-mail back from Level 10, but all that was on it was $3999.00 for the tranny and $1000.00 for the t-convertor. I think I would like a little fore-play first. Like what would this do for me and maybe how it works with the ECU. I'm not even sure if after doing all that they say to do if anything will change. I don't think that getting just a price is enough information. When I called they told me they would e-mail me a form to fill out with my mods to help them with an idea of what I would need and expect the tranny to perfromance, but after filling it out and sending it back all I got was a price.

Do people think that the dip in the torque curve is due to the limits of the torque converter? There were rumours of an electronic torque limiter in the past but I sometimes get that spooling up lag that checkers has described. If there was a way to get an uprated torque converter without sending mine in, I'd probably try it and see. I've been saving for the stroker kit (which would need the automatic crank) but I fear the transmission would be the main limitation.
The horns are black chrome. As far as the t-converter level 10 has them, but I'm not sure if it would work if you didn't change thing in the tranny also like the valve body. Jan told me he throught the automatic could take the stroker kit. The only thing that worried was the TQ, but the tranny is good to around 260 to 280 lbs TQ or so I heared.
