Will this work?

Ok guys this is where I need your help. I have a dilema. I have a set of custom 1 off 18x8 wheels that were made for my car by a company that remains to be said and is no longer in business. Well what happened is that my spokes actually cracked all the way through, now you would think that a set of FORGED 18 rims would not crack especially about a inch away from the hub. So regardless, I am stuck with my car and no rims to run on. So in thinking and doing some research I am going to be getting new wheels and I want to maintain the 18 size while still acoomodating my BBK. What I am wondering is does anyone know if the E36 Z3 hubs will work on the MINI as I know their brake components do and if the hubs do fit then that allows me to transfer to a 5 bolt pattern which is so much easier. Anybody have any information at all on this? Otherwise I think I am going to call BBS and have them custom drill a set of wheels to fit the 4-100 patter that we have.
Thanks for all your help.

Don't know about the Z3 wheels, but you can't go wrong with BBS.

I am actually working on converting my car to the BMW 5-stud setup, using 3-series brakes. I can tell you now that the Z3 hubs will not work "as is". The splines for the CV shaft are much bigger than on the MINI.

What I plan on doing is to remove the splined section from the MINI hub, machine as much as I can off of the OD, take a 3 series drive flange hub that I will bore out/machine, and press the MINI splines into the BMW hub.
