I have scanguageII, it is hidden away, monitors the important stuff (except oil), and has limited data logging
But that's just me

It's definately in the intercooler pipe -- a plug where the noisemaker used to go w/ a fitting in it.

How do I know? Same setup, no vacuum.

I haven't gotten a chance to tap the manifold yet.

Did you change the LEDs in the tach BTW? I had BF Ambers in my Evo and they were very RED while yours seem to match the speedo very well.

I need to talk to Jeff when he gets back. I know we have vacuum on the mule R56, but I don't know exactly where it is tapped. I might dig around again later today. I will let you guys know.

Is there any room to use an aluminum Throttle body spacer, too use a source for vacuum taps, for anything that also needs vac? So one does not have to tap the mani...

YseanY: Yes they are! The R56 will be just a bit behind them. My apologies for the delay!

SlowB00st: Good question. I haven't tried!

sorry, a little confused....is the pod for the R56 already available, just not listed on the site?

and any chance of using Defi gauges vs. the ProSport?
what size is the housing for the R56 gauge pod? 52mm & 60mm like the R53?

Pods for the R56 are done. They just aren't ready for release yet. Sorry for the ambiguity.

Just like the R53 we will offer the pods separate from the gauges if you choose to use another route. No problem! They accept both 52 and 60mm gauges.

Hope that helps! Thank you!

Looks like they are available now.

This is the first car I will own with a turbo. If you are not planning to mod the engine, why is the boost gauge important? I understand how water temp and oil pressure are important (even on a stock engine), but why boost?

Minidrivr: The boost gauge is great to see what is going on with the motor. You can gauge if you have a problem with boost loss over time (worn boots, failed clamps etc.) as well as if you have a spike (plugged cat, etc.). Also, Oil Temp is an excellent gauge as well. The turbo likes warm oil and as a result it is best to wait to put your foot in it (building boost) until the oil is warm. So the boost gauge combined with oil temp is a great idea. Or if you want something combo'd differently, let us know.

Thanks again!

Adam

Because it's fun to watch, of course! It's hard to even get a tach to be as dynamic as a vacuum or boost gauge.

Ok, are there any double gauges? I like the look of the 2 gauge pod with the tach. But would like boost/water temp in one gauge and oil temp/oil pressure in the second gauge. Is that possible?

Not unless you have digital gauges or something like that. Only one gauge can fit into the holder on each side.
