Alta Pulley Removal Tool

Has anyone been able to use a Alta Removal tool (one with the handle and the 2 pieces that clamp around the side) to remove a pulley without removing the tensioner?

The Alta version is too big and requires the tensioner to be removed. They built it to last and can handle numerious pully removals though.

Yep - I've used my Alta seven times so far, and it's holding up well, but there's no way to get it in there with the tensioner in place.
