This was a dyno run, 213 whp. SCMM dyno day 20 MINIs. 118db will put that look on your face.

They were already awake that day

Sounds kinda like inferno's cat-less M7 exhaust with the hole in the flex pipe

 

No flex pipe on this installation.

The system has a resonator and two mufflers, Magnaflow style.

I am doing a custom exhaust on my MCS but single sided COOPER style with rear cooper valence

 

Ths thought has crossed my mind, where did you pick up the cooper valence?

 

I guess 'drone' is not a problem with the HP.

Nice results, are you going for more?

 

I have the volt and no resonator with stock header and that damn thing screams....

Sounds like mine, but maybe it's just the video but mine is deeper sounding. Magnaflow CB (one res, two mufflers) with an ALTA Catless Header! I can HARDLY hear my SC whine at WOT... yea it's LOUD.

JESUS that thing is ******* LOUD!!!! Don't think I would like something that loud on my car. What prototype header are you running if you don't mind me asking..

 

That's louder then my FFR '65 Cobra!!!!!!! Powered by a '03 Cobra Supercharged V8 with headers into glasspack sidepipes. Altough the MINI is much higher pitched. Good WHP pull.

Loud pipes save lives

 

That's truly annoying. I love it!

 

It is the M7 header that was on display at AMVIV this year.

You beat my 114 db "record" from the last dyno day. That was with a stock header and the Webb 3" exhaust. Guess I'll have to up the ante....

Good to see i'm not the only one with an obnoxious exhaust. I've got a 2.5" catless with 2 resonators. Stock manifold.

 

The Webb by far has got to be the loudest exhaust out there (besides custom)... I mean MINE is loud but I cannot imagine a WMS 3" plus a catless header!

The AZ (not AR, that would be Arkansas!) MINI dealer has to order parts to fix my shifter and won't get them until next week. So I am flying home and coming back next weekend to drive the car home. Not a great end to my vacation.

 

Amen. I thought i was going deaf by every second when I ran my webb exhaust open... now.. imagine that minus the cat.. ugh headaches
