witch code reader obdII to buy?

will the $50. type at Checker auto work or should i get the one for $80. at Sears or the $129. at Sears ? what are the differences to warent the prices? do'nt they all reset the codes?

I like the auterra program I have that runs on a Palm. It checks codes and does a whole lot more.
