Unichip for the R56

I can tell you now that the Unichip is on a car here in the States and working, and effects boost as well as the other standard curves.

I should have the working unit and mapping to go with our R56 parts within the next two weeks. The plug and play harnesses will follow to avoid the hardwire solution. All of these units are the Flux compatible Unichip Q.

Stay tuned (no pun intended) for further details shortly!

Hope that helps,
Randy

I can see there are going to be a lot of R56's with blown motors just like all those subaru wrx owners. you guys do realize the R56 has 10.5 to 1 compression ratio. even a few more Psi may result in a blown head gasket or worse.

i may be off base but with direct injection even at the high compression ratio its at the engine will be able to handle more boost, obviously to an extent, as long as the ECU is programmed properly.

100% correct. The new gti has similar compression and is direct injection as well, and the cars are really picking up with bolt ons. fsi ftw

i did some more research and direct injection by iteslf isnt as important as the variable valve timimg when talking about compression ratios. or so i understood

I know its torture. You get these companies say they have something coming out soon" awesome results" will let you know availibility ASAP........then 2 months later....nothing.

I understand that. My comment was not directed towards Randy. I was actually referring to another company that rhymes with Vishinu

Hopefully they are just busy working on it. I just got all excited a little too early. As mad as I am that nothing has developed yet I am sure I will be one of the first ones to buy one.
