Drivetrain Yet another sparkplug question
Yet another sparkplug question
Ok so I have been searching this forum quite a bit recently for the concensus on sparkplug torque when you are replacing them. I see from 18-24 ft/lbs as a range. I am fairly skitish from the flying sparkplug fiasco of the past , but I don't want to over-torque it either.
Opinions please

Tighten it until it stops with slow lightish load, you DO NOT want snap the threads off. That would require you taking the head off the block to get it out of there and redo the threads.
I would use 20 ft/lbs as a number, but i never used a torque wrench for my sparkplugs.
