i have some BFG G force's right now and im looking to get something stickier. I drive the car everyday but Im getting big into autocross and i want a worth while set of tires that have a tread wear over 140.
I was thinking about getting the BFG KDW2, my dad Cor Blmy has them and loves them. Dont want to spend more than $140 per tire. I am thinking about getting a seperate set of wheels if you all think 140 tread wear rating is just too low. I think the G forces are like 365 tread wear rating.
Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated!

 

I'm sure you've noticed these tires on other folks cars at the events. They are very popular. Deservidly so. They are both 200 treadwear.

First off, hate to be a downer but I have to say it: wrong forum.

As far as addressing the question goes, props to the Azenis (mentioned earlier).

Side note: treadwear ratings are only relevant staying within the same manufacturer, and sometimes even then don't mean much. Best bet is to check around...I don't think I have it bookmarked anymore, but I used to have a site with nothing but tire reviews and forums.
