Supercharger pulley install

hey guys i have a alta exhaust and intake on my cooper s and i was just wondering if it is worth it to buy thier pulley and what kind of power gains should i expect to see from it. also i was wondering if i didnt want to install the part myself where would be a good place to have it installed.

Yes, put the pulley on. It's the best $120 you'll spend on your S. You'll notice the difference in all gears. As far as the install, it isn't difficult if you have the proper person/shop/tools to do it. A competent technician should be able to do it (even if it's the first one they've done) in two hours or less.
The Alta pulley's come w/ detailed directions, and there are numerous pics/directions online that can be utilized as well.

buy one from webb motorsports . mines been on for like two years or more maybe. with no issues . he'll rent you a good puller for a dollar too . plus his step by step instructions are second to none .

If you buy from Helix, I think they loan out pulley pullers too.

I would take the drive down to Philly for a Helix install. Talk to your dealer, but the price and knowledge at Helix I'm sure is the way to go.
