Less arm pump, faster to the powerband in the corner exits. I used a 1/2 turn Magura for years on the East Coast enduro circuit. Same principal here....but no gain in HP.

I don't think people here were intentionally trying to slam you as much as we were joking about the claims made about this product. Fact is, all the product does is fool the computer into thinking you're pressing the gas pedal farther than you are. So if you want to get 100% throttle in 1/2 the time & have the rest of pedal travel not do anything, then go for it! I think most of us can push the throttle down 100% when we want 100% power and save the $300 for mods that really increase our HP. I know I can press the pedal down fully and I exercise my right foot daily.

The funniest testimonies I've seen for this thing are on the Mercedes & AMG boards. I'm also on a couple of those since I own an AMG (and 99% of the owners I've talked to on those boards are the least technical bunch of car guys I've ever heard from) and I just laugh when they think it gives them more power, just because their AMG now can spin the tires at 1/4 throttle with this thing installed instead of 1/2 throttle stock... I remember one guy with an E55 was so jazzed cause it made his car feel like such an uncontrollable beast that was now constantly fishtailing (like that's a good thing?)!

It also reminds me of something a GF said to me once about "why does the car seem to go so much faster when you drive it?"... Um, duh, cause I press the GAS PEDAL!!!

You'll need to use that gas pedal to avoid the wife when you're out cavorting with your GFs.

Point and shoot... In a car on the track or the twisties I would think you want more modulation in the throttle not just an on off button. Be great on the drag strip though! Just my 2 pennies...

What this product does is eliminate or greatly reduces the lag found in most automatics. I have one on my Crossfire.

lol wow a fellow mbworlder! I've seen you around over there. And yes I'm sure you remember all the HPS drama. ahh good times. I'm sure you know that one of the guys that had his CL motor blown up by an HPS supercharger was one of the first people to put a sprintbooster on his car. LOL. Good to run into someone familiar on NAM :0)

I put one on my turnsignal, and now I only have to move the lever halfway to signal a lane change. The effort and times savings are phenomenal, and quite a value for $280!

I'm also working on an adapter so it'll work on my toilet.
