Minspeed Dyno day

Well today off I went with my son to another Minspeed Dyno day. The last time I reported very poor numbers (168hp), if you recall I had a clogged IC.

While at the Dragon , I was lucky enough to get LDG tune time but John felt that there was something amiss with my car and could not extract a complete tune (not one that he was happy even though he found 8 hp over the GIAC tune I had.). It was evident that the belt was slipping, causing a tuning headache for John. I had the car compression checked, leak tested, new pulley belt, cleaned air filter and swapped some other stuff.

Today my numbers were 188.5hp - much better but I know there is more to be had for I am running pig rich.

It was a Dynojet dyno. Still the numbers are short for the A/F shows its dumping fuel. Hopefully LDG can get my A/F under control but the fact that they are in NJ and I'm in Florida is going to be a challenge in itself.

I think John is in MD and Don is in NJ. Not that it makes a difference, really.

3000 rpm = 14.75 appr.
4000 rpm = 13.5
5000 rpm = 12
6000 rpm = 11.5
7000 rpm = 10.5

basically after 5,500 it stays under 12
