I noticed I didn't have to downshift to accelerate when passing on the freeway, people cannot believe how well my car will pull in 6th gear on the highway! This should be even more pronounced with your ported cyl head.

I think the OBX header is one of the best bang for you buck mods on the MCS...and considering you've spent quite a bit on your car already, its a no brainer thing to add!
Didn't see your response. Thank you again for the reply. I have still to install the OBX header since I was waiting for other parts to come in (see my sig with in the works).

As it is, my car pulls strong even in 6th gear and I'm quiet surprised that it pulls without having to down shift. It's almost as if you have down shifted when you accelerate with my car in 6th. In 5th it's even more pronounced.

In few weeks off I go to Jan's (RMW) and Danny's (Minicorsa) place in Van Nuys for more mods and tunning.

Install it yourself it only takes about 2 hours. Its a very easy install.

Installing it yourself is relatively is easy as long as you have a good floor jack and jack stands.

The only problem you will have is diving what will sound like a top fuel dragster to the muffler shop. Pick one close and drive slow. My guy charged me $50 to cut and install the stock cat. I no longer have the OBX but I agree with Thumper that it's the best bang for the buck mod you can do. IMO It really helps down low but doesn't do a thing for the top end.
