Standard belt should work just fine. Shorter belts are required for 17% and 19% pulleys.

It's work with standard belt but it's better to get a shorter one.

Helix has the right belt, the JCW will cost a wacking load more. If you live in the Bay Area I have one w/ a used Helix pully for cheap, under a $100 and very low miles.

I've been using the stock belt with an Alta 15% for 15,000 miles or so with zero problems. That being said I'm about to change to a JCW belt soon.

It will work fine with the stock belt . A shorter one will fit better, but I don't see how it could do anything to help unless your belt was breaking like mad.
