Racing my first manual

I am a fairly new driver, my mini is my second car but my first one had to be automatic (mommy knows best ). So im just wondering how i will get the most speed going through the gears. What Rpm is the best to launch and when you guys do get goin do you just petal to the floor and fully drop the clutch every time? This will be for er... legal quarter mile races

Thanks guys

also have many of you guys gone to driving school were they teach you how to drive your mini to its full potential? On average what did you pay? Did you attend before or after you installed your mods? Thanks!

You're not going to find much help here about drag racing.

As far as driver schools, though, that's our thing! People do events with many different outfits. BMW CCA is regarded for their quality events. I'd say average price is somewhere between 200 and 350.
