Roomie for Road Atlanta March 9-11

I'm looking to see if there are any other girls going to RA for the BMWCCA Driver's School next month.
I have a room reserved at the Holiday Inn Express, which is about 5-10 minutes from the track. The rate we would be splitting would be $120 per night.

Annette,

Sorry to go OT.

Do local Atlanta folks stay near the track rather than commuting?

I live about 50 minutes away.

hornguys, I think it's about half n half. The Holiday Inn and the other hotel folks use seem to be pretty packed with cars from the DE. I noticed alot of Atlanta tags (Cobb,Dekalb, Fulton) etc last time. I timed it last time and from Alpharetta the drive was about an hour. I usually check in Friday afternoon so I don't have to worry if I'm running a bit late Saturday morning, but you don't want to miss that first meeting Saturday or you'll be persona non grata!
There are also alot of folks who have RVs that stay right at the track.
The Holiday Inn is the most expensive of the area hotels (other than Chateau Elan) but it is the closest. It also has a little shopping center right next door, good for filling coolers with drinks and snacks, plus there is a gas station right there, too.
