I am up to five days this year. Two more coming at LRP August 19-20. I will be lucky to get to 10.

Best mod and only mod this year (maybe the best mod I have done to the car so far) is my AST 5100 coilover with Vorshlag camber plates, rear pillow mounts and perhaps a little too stiff 450 in/lb hyperco springs front and back.

 

Only 3 days this year so far.... probably 2 in both September and October.

I am interested in that SCDA event. If you see the MPGs, tell either of them I will likely go to that event.

 

Yes...running the SCDA event yesterday. I only talked with him briefly after his first run - I had to go track down my wallet that I never put back in my pocket after getting gas in Cornwall! It apparently flew off my motorcycle shortly after I left the station and was found by a nice woman on her way to the Catskills, which is where it still is. Luckily I get it back Monday.....

I am going to that 2 day SCDA event at NJMP as well...If anybody wants to team up for a room at the trackside suites let me know. They cost $100/night last year and are nice. Slinger - just like the VIR rooms. If not I'll just drive down early the first day and then stay 1 night.

 

Embarrassingly enough, I haven’t done any this year. This has been the busiest year I’ve had in years.

I am going to sign up for Roebling Road in Savannah in Nov.

I guess one in twelve months isn’t bad...

S-driver, glad you have a good Samaritan with that wallet situation. Did GKP mention any more problems with with Alta stage 1 tune? He lost near two track sessions outlr last time with him at LRP due to boost issues with stage 1.

Orange, might we convince you this time to go to lower new jersey for some fun with us in September. You definitely need more track time this year.

 

GKP said he put it back to stock tune for the first session and it ran fine if I remember cirrectly. I think he was going to play with the tune for the next runs...

 

You have no idea how bad I’d love to run with you guys. I’m not sure why but this year has been ridiculously busy. The rest of this year isn’t any better.

I have a party this weekend for my wife. In two weeks, we’re going on a 10 day cruise. A couple of weeks after that, I’m taking my daughter to FL for her birthday... blah, blah, blah... it doesn’t stop.

That’s why I’m lucky to get to Roebling Road this year. Any chance of you coming down here. I’ll pay your gas and hotel down here if that’s a bribe.

Sorry, I cannot accept anything from you to come down. My reward is running with you and seeing that orange beast. And get some pictures of us running together and trade some more track stories.

I am supposed to be retiring (again) in September but my wife has me going to Texas, Asia, Hawaii, etc for weeks at a time.

Tell me exactly where, when and what group. Somewhere I may be able to find the time.

Wow, that is quite an offer from OC...me to the track, wife to Savanah, its a thought. But right now I will have my hands full with a house sale (not mine) and another dog surgery. The Vet called him a "mutant" because of his deformed back legs...D*#m puppy mills. So after LRP I am done...tires will likely be shot too.

 

For anyone interested in joining me, I completed my registration for Roebling Road. It’s a Darkside event and is Nov. 5th and 6th.

For anyone considering it, you must attend. Roebling, IMO is one of the funnest (by far my favorite) tracks for the mini.

Thanks for the info Mark. That is really a good price for both the HPDE ($250 for two days) and hotel ($74 per night).

I checked the website, but did not find the HPDE schedule. How much track time is there? Thanks.

 

Never been to Roebling, but I've been told it's a great Mini track. I've been wanting to stop in on my way to relatives in GA (I'm in FL). I'm not familiar with the group. Where is the event registration information?
