Oct 31 Lime Rock DE
Don't forget Laura will be there, the 'novice' who got bumped to intermediate and signed off to drive solo on her first track day. This'll be my last track day this season and it's been a great one. Will definitely lighten up in the wheel department before next season along with R comps. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to keep up with you then.
Yes, Ms 130. She told me when she was leaving that she was not sure till she checked her busy social schedule. Would be great to have her there for sure.
Wondering if GKP can make it.

An R53 with only an intake and an exhaust. With two people in the car and in 6 th gear.
Veggivet and I were a little more than surprised. Especially from an AutoXer with little track exp.
S-Driver, are you coming to LRP Oct 31?

All,
SCDA just sent out an e-mail changing the track time from the morning to the afternoon. The correct time is 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Hope we can get a few more Minis the go. It would be fun.

Video of us doing lead/follow would be great! Don't worry, Slinger, I'll be there in plenty of time. I won't pull a Halifax Harry! Last week they had cars in reverse direction at Lime Rock. The video was freaky weird to watch.
Also, LRP is Veggievet's home track. And he has lots more HP (about 35 hp more) than me, a whole bunch more suspension (negative camber) and brakes (mine is stock versus his is Brembo). This duel may be a real short one.
Regardless, it would be real fun hanging out with you and your son again.
PS: Sometimes, Ian lets us drive others around if Veggievet asks.
Ian would probably sign you off if you have enough track experience. If not for some reason, he would definitely allow us to take passengers. Despite the mods on my car, Slinger is almost always faster than I am due to his superior driving skills. I also think he adds liquid steroids to his gas right before the runs, and adds water to mine.
There are a few choices of reasons when I am be faster
1. Veggievet let me
2. Its the rear head rests (I took them off and its good for two pounds)
3. Is the liquid stuff I put in the gas tank (not gasoline)
4. Its the foil in the engine compartment
5. Its the stuff I put in Veggievets gas tank (not gasoline)
6. Its all about tire pressure
7. Just got lucky

And, if I remember, at Monticello you left the bolts loose when you helped Veggievet change his wheels. Talk about negative camber!
If i go, I'll throw in my helmet. Now that it has moved 1:00 to 5:00 it may be a problem for my son since it is Halloween. We'll see.

Glad you noticed. VV did not since he was supervising from afar...
I'll have to review the video caught on my stealth mounted wheel well camera. I think the fact that your wheels weigh about 30% of what mine do should have made your top 10 list. That'll change next season, for sure. How come when I checked my torques at Watkins Glen they were at 19 instead of 91?

OK.
9. I put bricks in VV tires.
Not driving in the event but I think I'll come to hang out tho...
I'm doing the EMRA TT on the 24th @ LRP, weather permitting.
130mph, 6th gear on the front straight seems a bit optimistic IMO, but who am I to say.
I hit about 114ish coming to the 4 marker, in 5th gear. And I regularly do 103's and have been in the 102's a year ago at this event.
It'll be good to see you S-Driver without having to point you by. Could I hire you to watch my car between runs to make sure Slinger doesn't add anything to my gas tank? By the way, did you know that SCDA has added another Lime Rock date for November 7th. I'll be there unless it's snowing.
