Yeah, I signed up for the Mazda class at Laguna.

Their sale has been extended now to July 17th. Seems like many of the schools and track day outfits are kinda hurting. I figure if my money is going to disappear, better Barber than Lehman

Great. You will have a fun time and learn something great there. I would recommend that you make a request for Rob Slonaker.

Thanks for the tip; I’ll see if they’ll do that.

Anything else you’d recommend I do before going? Should I get any gear, other than my helmet (or do they provide one with comm?)?

Just show up with racing gloves and shoes. You can buy it at places like OGracing.com or saferacer.com. If you have a SA2005 helment, you can bring it. Otherwise, they will provide it along with the racing suit. Bring some
garbage bags with you just in case it rains. You wear that under your racing suit to keep dry.

They will give you all the rest of the equipment.

Anything else, PM me and I can assist.

might wanna look into a hans if your really paranoid, but you will have to have your helmet fitted with clips (theirs do not have them) and its costly if you dont plan on getting behind the wheel often
