Hi folks,

Does anyone know of a track/driving school anywhere near Toronto where I can give my MCS a workout and maybe learn a few tricks from a pro?

 

Here is a list of tracks in Canada. Check and see what is near you and what programs they may have. Might also want to take a look at http://www.bmwclub.ca/ In the states the BMW CCA allows MINI owners to join. They usually have very good track days that focus on instruction and fun.

 

dude isn't mosport and Mont treblant up around the Toronto/Ontario regions?

If so definitely look into getting on those circuits, as they are two legendary facilities (besides being an absolute blast to drive, from what I hear). For BMWCCA, I know the Genesse Valley (NW NY) and Boston Chapters , run schools there and as others have mentioned I'm sure the Canadian BMWCC will also have schools and possibly whatever is the CAD equivalent of SCCA

 

Actually, they let anyone join no matter what car they have.
And yes, they run one of the best, if not the best, HPDE, Race School, and racing programs around.

Dunnville Autodrome (Dunnville, Ontario) ... took my MINI twice ... nice lil' track
Toronto Motorsports Park (Cayuga, Ontario)
Mosport DDT (Bowmanville, Ontario)
Shannonville Motorsport Part (Shannonville, Ontario)

Try registering on www.somc.on.ca , a couple of members organize lap days during the spring/summer/fall season. And register with BMWCCA Trillium Chapter, they host autox's and driver training days!
