13.2555...........

60ft 1.8760
60-330 3.5768
330-660 3.0128
660-1000 2.5240
1000-1/4 2.2659
=== 13.255
These were all my best increments today

We managed 22 runs on 93 oct pump fuel with a best of 13.3581@102.00 and a worst of 13.6051@102.01 I would love to say this was on drag radials but unfortunatley it was on slicks

Here's the best one of the day

60ft 1.8969
330ft 5.5019
660ft 8.5361
mph 81.63
1000ft 11.0739
1320ft 13.3581
mph 102.00

Oh well you cant say I didn't try to get Isellem record today

FTR head on and pistons in next, here comes the 12s without and 10s with nitrous

Cheers, now its Sunday I'm thinking of some of the issues I had and whether there was a teen in it

Good luck this Friday, you guys are so lucky out there, parts shipped next day etc .

Don't forget to send the fuel sample over so I can check its come from the gas station and not the pump at the track .

Fantastic job paul!

That is seriously impressive even if you were on slicks

I honestly don't think the car has a 13.1 in it especially with that mile an hour. I think you have pretty much hit the ceiling on that set up. Now that you have mastered that setup my record will definetly be in danger once you put the head on.

looks like we will have to run on something other than a street tire to maintain the record.

I am really looking forward to this.

Just because we live in america doesn't mean that we get our parts the next day... because we are depending on the "aftermarket" which timetable is obviously based off of another planet in the solar system we probably get our parts a day before you do. seriously people are sooo slow to ship things.

we are hopin to be at the track this friday should all things go exactly as planned. (things will need to go exactly as planned in order to get to the track on friday) if we can't get there friday we will shoot for sat... and if its not sat... it will have to wait for next week. I will keep you posted

did you happen to video any of your runs?

I believe Thomas video about 15 of the runs, we were contemplating Thomas having a go as he only weighs 10 stone wet, but we we didn't get anywhere near you in reality.

Hope all goes to plan this week

hmm... since you are going after my record... i might... MIGHT go after your record of quickest street tyred mini... that record may have to fall on friday or saturday as well would get to enjoy that for about a week until you get your pistons in and put your 500 shot on it!

long story...

The clutch just arrived... but now we have a bigger problem. The biggest drag racing event of the year is here. Paul i believe you were here for it last year. John force Pedragon etc are all here in town at firebird taking up the whole track. So that leaves us with speedworld and they aren't running friday night or sunday morn. they are only running saturday night and it is part of an offical street car shoot out series. i don't know if they will let us in since we are running time only and are not in the series.. i am goin to call them when they open and see what i can figure out...

Here's where the clutch will be sitting until at least Friday....

Then we will actually install it, spend all friday night breaking it in. That way once we put our record all the way out of reach... We can take down your street tyre/tire record! That's right we are going after both the British tyre record and the American tire record!

I can see that nice white bottle standing there, good luck with the tyre shake when you activate it.

I might go out Sunday, but only if I have too.

What complete street tyres will you be using as I need to get some for this event http://www.totb.co.uk/home/

Drag Radial we use BFG G-force
We have also raced on Toyo T1-R's as an all around street tire.

We used up all the M/T ET streets, but i want to get another set those tires hook in just about every application we have used it on!

I hope we give you a reason to go to the track on Sunday, but we will have to wait and see. Hopefully the track prep is up to par and we can get out of the hole.

Who knows... Maybe we will be giving you a nice early wake up call around 5am Sunday morning...

So we started the UK Slayer tonight! We have to try and get it down to an acceptable fighting weight!

Here are a couple preview shots...

if everything goes right...

we will have to post a picture of the nitrous kit... its insane.

not just the teaser bottle.

The tirethat we ran the 13.2 on were on toyo t1-r's. They have a tread wear rating of 380

hopefully this weekend we will break both records... i would be happy with just one record. Also, its rainning here today... hopefully it will be gone tomorrow night!

Paul... stop doing the rain dance
