nope quarter mile!

yes the 1/8th
I am just trying to get some insight into how to improve for this next run on thursday. I only had 1 real competitor... and he was running almost the exact same times as me.. the rest were 5mph slower and 10+mph faster

That must have been one slippery track. I have managed 2.3 60ft times in my friends '05 and 10.03's on a regular basis. His is completely stock with runflats on the stock 17's. On his car I launch around 3600-4000 depending on the track.

Just make sure you are not bogging the car down when you launch. Launching is a compromise of spinning too much or not spinning enough and not keeping the motor in the "sweet spot.

On my car, how ever, if I get a little bogged down it's nothing a little squirt can't handle. And having the extra low end grunt for my pulley setup helps too.

Write on the ticket after the run what you launched at what you shifted at air temp etc etc, if nothing else it will make you more consistant and you'll be able to evalluate the future mods that you do.

Why were runs 3, 4, and 19 your quickest?? it was the 60ft which made the difference but what did you do different.

Good Luck and enjoy

Perhaps if you ever decide to come further east I can take you for a ride in a 8 sec (1/8th mile) MINI. I can make a trip thursday but I don't want to make a 4 hour trip.

Hey Spillman is that a wet or dry kit you got on there, do you have a controller fitted or is it on the button and you hit it when you like.

Think yourelf lucky that you dont have to pay $10 a 1lb and $8 a gallon for gas

Holly sh**t. That is high. I am using a wet shot. It is activated by a dash switch, then a wide open throttle switch, and then the horn button.

crappy track the guys never open it tonight nor did they have a sign or anything except a few pissed off people (25ish cars from my guess maybe more). So overall no runs tonight but I did get in an hour or so drive!
