Took the Mini to the track

Well I bought the Mini a little over a month or so ago. Ive ran over half the cars Ive owned at the track wether they are fast or slow. I just like to know what I can do with my car.

The car is pretty much stock. I believe it has the stock supercharger pulley since it looks like the stock pressed on one to me. It does have MSD coil and wires but I don't believe they add much past looks. Stock intake and exhaust. I do have Axis Reverb 17x7.5 wheels that weigh 17.5lbs and Yokohama Parada Spec 2 215/40/17 summer tires. Tires to me seemed pretty crappy. My car does have the factory LSD.

So anyway I haven't had much experience with Stick shift cars at the track. I found it very hard to get it out of the hole. I ran 15.3 pretty consistently which I believe is what they run stock new. The car would wheel hop pretty bad if I didn't spin or just drive it out easy.

My goal was to get a 14 second slip. After dropping a tenths done to 15.2s I was able to get a very good launch. 2700 RPM out of the hole and straight into WOT. I did get some wheel hop but the just stayed on it and road it out. 2.18 60ft. No lift shifted at around 6500 RPM 1st-4th. It was good enough to get a 14.88@92MPH.
