What are your thoughts on this dash? Im looking to install one. I have used it only in a motorcycle roadrace capacity and I am wondering how well it will work.

As a dash, a lot of the units available are fine. As a data analysis tool, they're only as good as the software. I haven't used the XT software, so I can't comment there. I'm a huge fan of Motec's software, and not so much of AiM.

I've never had the luxury of connecting a dash via CANbus before, but my understanding is that life becomes infinitely easier. That being the case, you might want to check that the XT dash can do just that. For sure the AiM MXL lineup does. It might cost more for the dash, but you might save on the cost of redundant sensors or wiring looms. Motec also does, but I assume you aren't looking to spend $4k on a dash...
