Protecting leather
I hope this is the right place for this thread if not please move it.
I'm going to put a RSD (Rear seat delete) Kit in my car fairly soon. I want to keep my rear seat nice. I've got some big bags i'm going to put it in. Is there anything I should put on the leather to keep it from drying out? I will be keeping the seat in my storage unit.
Thanks

I wouldn't use plastic bags to store the seat. All of the care labels on leather garments I've owned have specifically recommended against airtight bags. I think you might have sticking/lifting problems with the dyes in the leather.
I'd give them a good cleaning and conditioning with Lexol or something similar, and wrap them in some old sheets to keep the dust/dirt off.

i would cover it in a plastic bag and store it in a dark cool and dry area.
those bags you get from dry cleaners should do fine. just cover it and
not seal it.
yah, +1 on the sheets. that will definetly work too.

I would not let the plastic bags come into contact with the leather. They could leech.
Put a white linen sheet around the leather and then cover that with plastic, but do not try to make it air tight. Store them in a moderate temperature.
