Problem with coin-op washes in winter = frozen windows!
actually the gaps i worked on was the gaps between the garage door
panels where rain water collects. the dirty water would drip
onto my cars when i opened the garage door. i HATE that..
so i used some mirror foam sheets i had, cut it to size and used clear
packing tape to mount it on the door. im beta testing it right now to
check durability. so far so good.
as far as the metal door itself, im using a garage door insulation kit.
kinda like this... has foam on one side, textured white vinyl on the other.
easy to install. just cut and pop it into place.

Matt, did you park inside? When I took my car to the coin op I brought it home, turned the heater on(lights) in the garage and let it sit for 30 min. I then went out and speed shined the car, wiped down the interior and engine bay. Nothing froozen.
It has not left the garage sense....

Matt, keeping a coat of silicone on the seals will help keep them from sticking. WD40 on the waist seal sounds like a great idea too.
