Does freezing really damage polishes/waxes - ? for Heather and anyone else
Yeah, I'm actually surprised they needed to do an inventory. It's a wonder there was anything left on the shelves.
Bet it was REALLY easy to count the Monster Fluffies... 1, 2...okay, two.

This is the cool thing. You didn't have to order it if you placed an order while they were doing inventoy, right Heather? Didn't you just throw a bottle in each shipment?
WOW - Nothing was frozen!!
I got my box from DP last night. And like Heather said, everything had insulation wrapped around it!
From what I can tell, nothing froze during the shipping process.
And
to DHL, too! UPS/ADS shipment was TOTALLY frozen (although it's being taken care of by ADS
) in the same temperatures as the UPS shipment.
I haven't tested the products yet to see if they separated (although Heather, doesn't one of your products have natural separation? Is it Epic?). But will do so!

And yes, Epic does separate naturally... good memory! So although Epic always needs a really good shaking, if it freezes it has the possibility of not being able to remix properly. Like I said before though, 1 freeze is usually ok and you just have to take a look.
A little add-on comment about DHL... we agree that they are a great shipping company. Although they aren't 100% perfect, they do a much better job than the others time and time again! We find that they're the quickest too.

DHL did an awesome job with my DP orders as well. They do a fair job at updating the tracking, and when it seems that they haven't updated it, it usually is on your doorstep anyways. I have said this before but I will say it again, DP does and AMAZING job packaging their stuff. It takes me forever to open it (the anticipation makes it fun)
well, they were not completely frozen solid, but the speedshine separated
into some icy portion and not so icy portion. at least it did not make a
mess inside the trunk.
i rinsed out the mist bottles and i can tell just by the smell the properties
had changed. it didn't smell like the fresh warm milk-like speedshine
smell any more... smelled like a medical sewerage version (?)..watever
that means.
eeewwww.

So funny, this thread has been going for a week, and you just now remember there were products in the cars.
Still, I'm glad that nothing made a mess!!
yah, when i got the big bottles out of the garage i thought i wasdone. at another forum there was a guy talking about carrying some
carstuff in the trunk and i was about to post, you put that in the
trunk in this sub zero weather it's going to....
oh wait.

eeewwww.At least they were your small bottles! That way you haven't lost much product.

I'm pretty sure that Speedshine has a little bit of carnauba in it. This is probably why Speedshine will have a tough, if not impossible, time of recovering from freezing. Carnauba really can't handle freezing very well.
