Removing kick marks on door panels??
I have these hideous shoe marks on my front door panels as pictured below. How do I get rid of these?? I tried Griots Interior Cleaner but it didnt work.
I've had good results with Mr. Clean's "Magic Eraser" on hard plastic interior panels.
Are the marks just transfer from your shoes, or are the panels actually scratched/scuffed? The hard plastic panels are notoriously easy to scratch, and there's not much you can do to fix them once they're scratched.

Try some Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer. It will remove those scuffs, without changing the matte look, and will leave beind a light fresh lemon scent. I use it all the time on customers cars. Use a rag like a red shop towel with a bit of bite if you need something a little more aggressive than a regular old MF towel.

You're welcome. But a warning like Scott said, if the panel is actually scratched, there really isn't much that can be done. If the scuffs are a transfer which is what I think it is--it will clean it right up. But even if it doesn't clean those scuffs, it's great for the rest of the interior.
I use this on all the gauges (clear plastic), head unit, all plastics, mirrors, airvents (spray on mf towel use a small handle on a brush to push towel into vents to clean dust off--it sticks to the QD on the towel).
Use it on the top of the dash--its not oily so if you get it on the glass, it wipes off easy. Works great on vinyl seats or armrests that get black and dirty from sweat. It's not a heavy duty cleaner, but it works great for quite a bit of interior cleaning.

^ Hey Richard... do you think Nero would work on this kind of stuff? Perhaps it doesn't have the same cleaning ability?
Also, I see that you use the Meguiar's on the Clear Plastic... I wondered if Nero can go on that or not.
I actually swiped my clear plastic Tac with one of those little 303 sampler (it's basically 303 on a little handy wipe) and it seems like I can sometimes see swirls on the plastic. Don't know if that was the 303 or the little handy wipe material that made that. It's not so bad, but every once in awhile the light catches it and I see the swirls
I was worried about swirls on my paint... not my clear plastic

I haven't really tried Nero for that purpose. It might, but frankly I don't like the smell. To me it reminds me of something with bananas.
Not exactly like bananas, but something very reminiscent of them.
The Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer (QID) is safe for all the instrument panels. It cleans the dust off safely and doesn't leave a residue. I know what you mean about scratched plastic. The instrument panels are pretty soft and do scratch easily. Not much you can use other than a plastic cleaner with abrasives, but they aren't exactly easy to get to to buff out. For me, it's something I can live with as I try not to look at the instruments too much while I drive.

Well until my shop gets fully stocked (in Placentia--57/91), you can find this product at just about any Walmart, Target, Pep Boys, AutoZone, Kragen.
mind this is cleveland we are talking about.... no surprises in cleveland. and i talked to a friend of mine the toher day who when pulled over for speeding, got a ticket for driving with out shoes as well.
Really? Well, they should contest the ticket because, although they don't recommend it, it's offically not against the law.
