went to Lowes and they did not have the PC 7336 but had the PC 343K for only $55...anyone familiar with this one?

That one is for Chevy's and guys named Bubba!

I think that is just a orbital sander - best not get that one. Too much torque and too high speed.

 

That's correct, you do NOT want to try this on your paint.

 

Oh I see, ....is that why when I used it with the 40 grit sanding disk, my Chilli red is now SS (shiny silver )?.....actually, I was surprised that Lowes only had that model....maybe they were out of the PC 7336, but do all Lowes carry the 7336 I wonder or just some....I didn't have time to pull a salesperson over to ask but will be back there next week....I think I'll take advantage of this warm winter on the east coast and get some pelletized lime for my lawn

 

I bought my PC from Lowes a couple of years ago. I ordered it online from their website and picked it up at the store I believe.
