FWIW, the link you provided for the G100a is NOT Meguiar's, it's one of their distributors. A very good one at that--I refer lots of people to ADS.

FWIW I bought the lake country backing plate and pad system originally with my PC then started with the Megs pads. I liked the Megs pads better but the backing plate is the exact size of the velcro on the pad so if your allignment isn't dead on or you apply pressure on an angle at all you cut into your pad. I've recently purchased a Megs backing plate and it is 1/4 inch smaller thus solving that problem.

Well tomorrow is the day I will finally deflower my PC. The pollen's done & it's supposed to be 77° & Sunny. I gotta rewatch the OG video tonight so I will be ready

I'm half way through the video and can hardly wait to give it a try. Hopefully I'll have time Sunday because if not then I'll have to do it the day before leaving for the dragon. No time to fix mistakes if that happens. :impatient

OG, the video is very informative so far. I should have picked up the 7006 pad for use with bonnets. I'll call around today to see if anyone has one locally. No big deal as this looks like something fun to learn all about.
