Glass Cleaning Cloth.

Ordered one from Detailer's Paradise along with a bottle of Prima Clarity. The result was far and away the best ever. I think it has more to do with the cloth than the cleaner.

^^ lol!!! you should compare wiping your glass with Bounty or something
if comparing it to a newspaper.

after using both the DP and Griots window MF cloths, i think the quality
of the DP is better, but the Griot's size is more to my preference.

so Heather, please make your window MF towel slightly smaller...
11-3⁄4" by 15-3⁄4" would be great.

I just noticed that the Clarity/towel bundle is only $2 more than the glass towel alone. I still have a bunch of my Griot's Glass Cleaner and Stoner's "Invisible Glass" left, but since I want the DP glass towel anyway, I'd be a fool not to get the Clarity for $2 more...

Heather, how does it feel selling crack to schoolchildren!?!

I seriously love DP's glass cloth. I just took all of Clara's Christmas decorations off and there were little bits of tape residue here and there on the glass. The cloth is abrasive enough that it took the little gluey bits right off!

Actually I've used Clarity with other MF glass cleaning towels besides the DP one, and it's definitely a combination of them both.

I've tried the same towels with Stoners Invisible Glass, Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner, and Meguiar's Detailer Line Glass Cleaner, and none performed as well as Clarity did. I'm referring to spraying it on, wiping it clean---using the least number of strokes without additional polishing/wiping necessary after it's dry. Then checking it under a strong direct line to see just how clear the glass is, if there was any fogging, etc..

octaneguy- does that mean only one stroke to wipe off, no turning the
towel over for the final wipe down? you can get that much clarity without
a final wipe down?

lol!

i use the Griots WindowCleaner and the MF window towels and get
great results. but if Clarity can wipe off with only one stroke that
would be enough for me to try it even though i have a lot of WindowCleaner
left. WindowCleaner is very economical imho.

Well not exactly. When I use NXT Glass Cleaner, you can see some residue left after you wipe, and it requires polishing with another clean MF towel for best results.

You still need a few wipes, but you will see the cleaner evaporating as you do those few wipes.

It's not really a residue but more like a fog. Once that's wiped off, the glass looks great, but Clarity doesn't fog like that in the first place.

ahh! even better. kinda reminds me of Hydro. no fog, just
dries crystal clear the first time.

I am using Finish Kare 1 - 425 and Pakshak 16"x16" waffle weaves. The 425 on the inside of windows is amazing. On the outside, 425 works similar to rain-x.

Why do I do it?

Reading this window cleaning post and just cost me $100 to get basic cleaning stuff from DP. Haven't even started to think about a wax yet. Why do I do it? Car is only a month old at this point. Am I getting started on it too late?

It's an addiction. Once you start really taking care of your MINI you won't want to stop

How funny because the same thing just happened to me All I needed was some Renovo Top Protector & I wanted to try the monster fluffies. Next thing I knew my cart had $90 in it & I though hail if I spend $10 more I get free shipping. So there you go

I've been using Prima Clarity along with the disposable window cleaning towels from Griot's. Yesterday, I received my Glass Cleaning Cloth along with my large order from DP.

WWWW... WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!

Before, no matter how hard I scrubbed, I could still see a film or a haze in the glass, especially on the parts of glass not cleared by the wipers.

Now... I can't see anything but absolutely clear glass. No haze, no residue, no ANYTHING. From now on, it's DP's Clarity and the Glass Cleaning Cloth together !!

Nope, not too late... Just buy as you go - since you're starting BEFORE the car gets too dirty, it will be a lot easier on you. it's always easier to prevent damage than reverse it.

Welcome to the Detailing Madhou... erm... FAMILY!
