Prima Nero on leatherette?

Lord help me, but I think I am about to order a boatload of Prima products. Is Nero the right thing for leatherette seats, or is there something better? I don't want them to be really glossy.

Thanks.

Ask Heather if you get a t-shirt with that order.

well, that didn't take long! I think you'll be happy.

I haven't used it on the leatherette yet... i'm a little worried about it being slippery... although I think kenchan said that if you wipe it off with a dry towel, that should be "mini"mized. I'm going to test a little section.

I used it on my rubber floor mats without any added slickness. It does dry pretty clean so I doubt there would be much of an issue with using Nero on the seats. Look at kenchan's photos - see how pretty! Edit:(um car, not kenchan)

If it is truly a boatload, I'll give you a t-shirt AND a hat! It has to be a full-sized boat though. Kid's toy boats don't count!

Seriously though, yes, Nero is a great look on the leatherette seats with its super-matte finish. I always like to warn though that any dressing on the seats can make them a wee bit slippery. However, each type of leatherette responds a little differently than another. Other MINI owners, like Kenchan mentioned, have had great results with Nero on the leatherette seats. With Nero being so matte, I think it's your best bet against this potential slippery issue. The more shine, the more potential for this being a problem.

Kenchan- No problems with slippery seats post-Nero??

Again with the T-Shirts ?!?! What does a Prima Fanatic have to do to get a shirt ? I was going to wait to get the R/O Buffer but I guess if I want a shirt, I better order it now !

No indeed, it did not take long at all for me to slide down that slippery slope!

Here's what my MINI is getting:
Mystique wash
Epic
Clay
Slick
Nero
Clarity
Glass cloth
Monster Fluffy
Waffle drying towel
Skinny applicators

My wallet isn't too happy, but my MINI will be. I figure it's a lot cheaper to take care of it now than pay to fix the problems later. Plus I LOVE riding around in my shiny MINI. So does that qualify as a boatload? And yes I did ask for a free t-shirt

If you're planning all that, may I suggest the Coopersport Prima Combo to save you a little coin?

You can check out the package here...

Cheers and happy detailing!

that's right, apply Nero and then do a dry wipe afterwards.
it will sound a little squeaky clean for a few days but that
will wear off.

alright, here it is....how's that for a perfect matte look.

it gets warmer and can do Epic.... what do you all think?

Yes. see, i know im right.

what happened to that off-season detailing goods had to wait
until spring crap? did i say that?

I post one and you post two. I can't compete, you win.
I don't know about the Hydro, Heather says it lasts and it certainly gives a good, slick shine, but how can something so easy be good for you?

I use 303 Aerospace protectant on my leatherette. It doesn't make my seats too slick, they just make a funny noise for a few days when you slide across them. The 303 has kept the seat my dog has ridden in 4 days a week for 2 years looking like new

i'm really liking the black trim after treating it with Nero. yes, it's only been two days and no rain yet, but still, i was not happy with the way the trim was looking and now I am. hopefully it will hold up for a little while.

Now we (or someone!) just need to create something that keeps the dog hair on the dog and not stuck in the headliner and the carpets!

Dry cleaning bag used as a canine body stocking...

Or you could always clear coat Fido...
