Prima Mystique green or purple?

Okay, so I realize this is just about the stupidest question ever...but I'm a detailing newbie, and as for Prima: long-time lurker, first-time buyer.

Just got my Prima Package from Coopersport at work today, and as today is the last nice day I'll be seeing in a VERY long time (it's 67 degrees F in NYC right now!!!), am taking the afternoon off and detailing my car for the first time.

Opened the Prima package, all very exciting. Pretty pretty blue bottles. But every picture of Mystique I've ever seen has depicted the stuff as green. My bottle, however, contains a very purple liquid. Is that normal?

About to go hit the bucket,

Slick is green. Mystique is in the Purple bottle. Are you sure you're not confusing the two products???

Remember the ratio is about .5 oz per gallon or twice as concentrated at the Meguiar's Car Wash soap.

Ah the wonders of Mystique! You are all correct and no one is doing anything wrong. Read on...

"Mystique" was named for its color-changing characteristics. Each bottle starts off as an odd green color (unless you hold it in the light, then you can see some purple) and then becomes increasingly purple with exposure to light. Once it turns fully purple, it doesn't change back. The bottle it comes in is actually clear, intentionally to display the changing color.

Don't worry though... the color change is just that- it doesn't affect or change anything other than the colorant we use in the mix. It has a nearly indefinite shelf life. So, Mystique can be green or purple or anything in between! It's all for fun.

Should have called it chameleon

Depending on the bottle you get (which is clear) Mystique can look really green or really purple... or a really weird mix of the two. Like a strange lighting effect. It's all good though!

Glad to hear the Coopersport Prima packages are all arriving safely at their destinations and being put to quick use

Enjoy the ride!

Cheers,
Jason.
