Heather may know how to convert the Sonus pad numbers into her pad numbers. If she doesn't see this thread and respond, PM her.

Generally the firmer the pad, the more agressive the polish you use with it. The Sonus orange pad in the set that I use is the firmest and I use it with Sonus SFX1 (the most agressive compound they make). It goes thru green and blue (I can't remember which is firmer - for middle and fine polishing), all the way down to grey for polish/wax application and removal.

I don't have any knowledge of the Prima products, though.

Absolutely! You can use the Sonus pad system with the Prima product line.

Here are some suggested pairings, in order of most aggressive pad to least aggressive pad:

SFX-1 Pad: Swirl or Cut
SFX-2 Pad: Swirl or Finish or Amigo
SFX-3 Pad: Amigo and/or Epic

The best combination will depend on your specific situation and what you're trying to achieve.

Quick key for abrasive levels of the Prima polishes:

Cut: Heavy abrasive
Swirl: Medium abrasive
Finish: Very light abrasive
Amigo: Non-abrasive unless paired with an aggresive pad on a polisher (and even then it is only super light)

Bottom line: the Prima line is compatible with any pad system. Just give us a call/email/PM if you need help pairing pads and product for your specific situation.
