Let's try this again. CB antenna blew off the top of my MINI today. It left 4-5 scuff marks in the spoiler. The paint does not appear to be scratched. I was wondering what I should do to remove them? They are about an inch long. 1/4 in wide. Please help.

How bad are the scatches? I had a few when I took off the Cooper S emblem on the trunk. Used a product from Eagle called scratch remover. Works great and took off the scratches. Only $4.00 a can. A little goes a long way. Hope that helps.

Depending on how deep the scratches are?First I would try polishing compound followed by wax. Should this not work I would use rubbing compound & if that did not work wet sand it - this last step you might want to have the bodyshop do for you.

The scratches don't seem to be very deep. They are actually white looking(even though the antenna is black) & you cannot feel them!! I've used polishing compound on other cars but I am hesitant to use it on the MINI. I think I will try the scratch remover & if that doesn't work, I will very gently use the polishing compound.
My MINI is only a month old & due for his first wax. So this will be a good time to do it.
Thanks

I'm glad Louie is okay.
Did you give him a complete wax job?
Hmmm, a whole month without his first wax job, IMO, is waaay too long.
Waxed MINIhune when she got home almost a month ago, and since had 2 more waxings
Excessive? Maybe, but of course, I'm a MINIAC!!!!
