Paint spatter on boot!

Sometime this past weekend, some paint (I think it's paint) got spattered on the boot of my MINI! Some of it will flick off with a fingernail. Most is pretty stubborn. I tried using Maguire's (I know, I'm spelling it wrong) cleaning polish to no avail. I don't want anything too abrasive, as I don't want any scratches in the clear-coat, but I do want to get this paint off.
Any suggestions?

Meguiar's Cleaner Polish--Probably Deep Crystal Step #2 is a chemical cleaner and it won't remove the paint without some type of physical action.

That is you need to first wash the boot with car wash soap. Use clay bar and spend as much time as you need to remove the paint. This should clean it up just fine. Then you might want to try the Paint Cleaner again, before applying a wax.

I agree. Get yourself a clay bar and it'll be much easier.

Mother's clay bar kit did the trick!

Now I have to do the whole car so it all looks great!
