Quick Detailing Tip

Hi Fellow Motorers:

I just wanted a quick tip about 2 things. The first one is about a wax brand that can be used every week. My new Mini will only be used on weekends and stored in a garage. Also, no need for winter or acid rain protection since I do not get that where I live. The other tip is about a leather protectant for my interiors. They are Lapis Blue Leather. I have used Lexol products before (cleaner and conditioner) but I dont seem to be getting a good protection . Thanks for your help!

Im not sure why you would need to apply wax every weekend... mine's a
weekend car and have applied Griot's Best of Show wax. I use SpeedShine
after every run.... the wax is very durable.

If you're looking for a wet look, try the Prima Epic too. from what ive
seen in person, polymers give a much better wet look than natural wax.

I don't use anything on my leather seats on my other car which is
also garaged during the week. best bet is to keep it out of the sun.

What he said - every week is overkill. If you want to keep your mini really well protected and "popping' with shine - I'd suggest the Klasse Twins - All in one followed by a THIN coat of sealant glaze. The glaze can be somewhat "layered" (but not every week). If the car is really clean and you just want to detail it out for maximum appearance when you take it out, try the Sonus acrylic detail mist, which works very well over the Klasse.

Thanks for the advice. I guess I was going to be waxing one to many times!
