Ive washed and clay bar' the front end and im going to install the clear bra. Should I wax the entire front first before putting on the bra? Im not sure if wax under it is a good idea or not?

 

I would say no , my friend has a company that installs that sort of stuff and on asking his advice ,I was told that he would remove all poilsh and wax to fit the cover ...oh .. a Bra here in Scotland is for covering ( . ) ( . ) not cars ...

 

Wash the area you are going to cover with dish washing soap. After you dry it wipe the are down with rubbing alcohol before you apply the decals. Make sure you clean the edges and backside of the car panels well. I have seen installers use the rubbing alcohol as a lubricant for the bra as well. It lets you move them around.

 

I had mine done a while back and the installer said no wax under the clear bra. They clean it with alcohol type cleaner to make sure that there is absolutely nothing on there that could damage the clear bra material once its installed. Good luck with your installation.
