A pillars

Is it safe to hit the black A pillars with the RO to remove swirls.?

Don't know about the RO, but I use my PC on them - quickly - and they turn out great!

Yes. RO=Random Orbital. PC=Porter Cable.(which is a RO)

That and the mirror caps are always swirled out. You can use the PC (Orbital polisher) to make them swirl free. I've also carefully used the rotary buffer. Either way, they both work great to remove swirls.
