KC MCS- so i tried the applicator tonight. i put on it, the Meguiar's
Endurance tire sauce gel (thick stuff) and applied it on my new Civic's
tires.

the application itself is very consistent. im still getting the sauce on
my hands though... dang it.

I would recommend this applicator for the arches for sure.
but for tires.... not sure, it works but TireSwipes might still be the
best solution for now, as long as the tire is not wet TireSwipes do
not leak the dirty sauced liquid onto the handle side.

Yeah, I quit using the 'gel' type tire dressing because it always seemed so sloppy, even with the applicators.

I now use pretty much only the NXT tire spray - I love it - and it smells great as well!

i got a spray bottle of that stuff during the survey/give away.
it's good stuff but doesn't last too long.. is there a trick? I only
use it on my weekend cars.

the Endurance seems to last the longest out of the Meguiar's ive
tried. (i use this stuff only on my commuters).

It seems to last pretty good for me, but about every 3 cleanings, I will strip them down and clean them with Wesleys. That gives a super clean surface for it to adhere to.

Wesleys... hummm, i should try some of that stuff. where'd you get it?

is it safe on wheels too?

Im probably going to spray that on a papertowel and just wipe the
sidewall clean. i dont wash my weekend cars that often...like only
2,3 times a year when the weather quickly plays a trick on me...
but like today, with my blackberry i saw that the weather was quickly
getting bad and so just made a quick u-turn and went home. started
raining 1min later. lol saved me from a wash.

No applicator I've ever tried keeps the stuff off my hands. Luckily it wipes off easily. Sometimes, I just say "screw it" and wear a latex glove.

You can pick Wesley's up at any discount store (wal-mart, target) or places like Autozone, Advance, etc...

To be honest, I don't know if it is 'technically' safe to get it on the wheels, but I can tell you I have and haven't had any issues myself. If you use it, you'll be amazed at how clean your tires will look.

I like to think of it as refinishing furniture - first you remove all the existing stain and varnish so you can start with a fresh/clean surface - then you put on the new stuff.
