Simply Beautiful!!

Slight correction on the PC speed 3 question.
Since the PC is an orbital polisher, it wouldn't be considered revolutions but rather oscillations, or OPMs. As for whether speed 3 is equivalent to 3000, I'm not exactly sure of that--have had this discussion before with others, and never had a conclusive answer.
For instance speed 3 on the Makita rotary buffer is actually around 1200 rpms--there is a chart printed on the buffer for determining speeds. And yes, that is RPM, but considering we generally only do 1,200 - 1,800 RPM on the Makita, it's a little hard to believe that speed 3 is 3,000.
Just my 2 cents.

I'd say just "crank it up to 11!"
Here is my shiney MINI
Wash / Polish / Wax. This is probably just about as shiney as it will ever be. I'm not real big into washing my cars. And it took 2 hours
its kinda a long time for me.

On a wax, you want to use a grey or blue pad at speed 3-4, I use speed 4 with some pressure to squeeze the wax out of the pad.
With polishes it depends on the abrasive power [to remove swirls] of the compound in question.
Higher abrasive compounds require higher speeds and working time than say a finishing polish which needs lighter pressure and has a shorter working time.

It's 9:40 PM. It's cold and windy. I just detailed my MINI Thursday, finishing at about 7pm. At approximately 10pm it started pouring rain. It continued to rain until about 4pm today (Friday). I had to drive into Brooklyn today from Long Island and the car is covered in road grime and dirt.
SO, naturally, I'm gonna go give the MINI a wash
Will post pics with process tomorrow

Well these are from earlier this summer...
Process:
Wash using Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo
Clayed twice with Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
Polished Spots that needed it with PBW SSR 2.5
Polished entire vehicle with Zaino ZPC w/Orange then White Wolfgang Pads
Applied Z6 (then between every layer of Zaino)
3 Coats of *NEW* Z5 Pro
2 Coats of Z2 Pro
2 Coats of Pinnacle Soüveran
Pinnacle Crystal Mist

That was REALLY involved.
Last weekend was two coats of Z5 Pro on my wintertime vehicle, an 07 Explorer Limited. I'll do more when it starts snowing.

Depends on the system you have chosen.
In the Meguiar's system, it's speed 3 for applying a wax, and speed 5 for everything else--remove wax, remove defects and swirls.
Also in the Meguiar's system, you have two pads that can come in contact with paint. Only one of them removes swirls, the other is for applying a wax or pure polish.
The only other variable is what chemical you will use between your paint and the pad. You've got a seemingly limitless choice here, but the one that will do most of the work--80 to 90% of the time is called M80 or Speed Glaze.
There was a post here on NAM, about why Meguiar's uses a number and a name. IMO, it's not a bad thing. Our local freeways have both a name and a number. Most of the time referring to them as the 405 or the 10 freeways is all that's needed instead of the long form name of San Diego Freeway or San Bernardino Freeway. Can it be confusing? Sure until you've been there and mastered them, then it's second nature.
#80 or #83 are the most commonly used polishes you will need with 80 being less aggressive (almost 50% less) than 83.

Tires/wheels are perfect. Do you hv Z16 on the tires?
I hv Z2 pro but hv not tried Z5 pro. Do you you find it to hv better filling ability than the old Z5?
I also have and use Souveran/CM a lot in the spring/fall, but hv never topped Z with it. Did it warm up the Z?
I am thinking of putting a couple of coats on the astro black before winter. So far I have been using menzerna ftg/fmj/hgas because it is so easy and pops the flake well.
What a fun thread! I found some more pics!
This is Jango, immediately after his first wash / clay / wash / polish / polish / Z2 / Z2
I love Pepper White on my MINI, but the darker colors really show off a well-kept finish!

The trees over my driveway (and a well polished sunroof):
