I love mine, both the large and small!

Great for when I bring my car's to show's, gets dust off great, with no scratching. Even better when you have a layer of Wizards Mist-n-shine on the paint, dust just lifts right off like "snot on Teflon"

Caution: Only use it with light dust! Otherwise you may risk getting larger particles caught in the duster, and then you'll scratch! In normal usage, shake often.

Cheers,
Ryan

I honestly, 100% could NOT live without mine. I worship it. I light candles around it and sacrifice small animals in it's name. I've built a shrine to it in my garage. I read to it at night. It's in my will.

This thing is just amazing. It's perfect for when you take you super clean ride to work and park it in the garage. You come back and it's dusty from sitting there all day. About 2 minutes of wiping, couple more to wipe down the front and rear window with Stoner's Invisible Glass and you are on your way looking fly.

I'm serious, this thing ROCKS!

I LOVE mine... heck, some days on break (during the summer, of course), you'll see me dusting off my MINI in the parking lot... heh heh...

I use 2, a large one for the painted surfaces and a tiny one for brake dust. They work great!

I picked them up from Target.

it's the greatest invention ever created! Mine lives in the boot, always ready when needed. When you get one, use it one time first on another car first. They work better when they are a *little* bit dirty.

It sounds like a nifty tool - but it also sounds like something that I'd only be able to use for about 6 months out of the year around here (PA). It just seems like we either have rain or snow - and all the associated muck - more often than not and that makes it almost impossible for me to keep the car clean enough to just have DUST to worry about. However, there are those months from late spring to early fall that it could prove useful.

It probably doesn't help that the private road to my house and my driveway are gravel... Looks like it's time for some pavement!

I definitely recommend the california duster. I have the large on that I keep in my boot and the small on in my glove. The small one has two ends, one is a fake bristle kind that you can use to clean out tight, hard to reach spots like the a/c ducts, the other is the normal duster.

buy them!

I have three. Be careful the ones with the plastic handles are not as good as the wooden handle version. The discount stores sell ther plastic handle version. Thinner yarn, less yarn and just not as good. Classic Motoring Accesories sells the wooden one for $19.95. I highly recommend it.

OK OK OK OK OK.   I just bought the set of two (small and large) from Costco. ~ $12

Letting them "air out" per the instructions. Won't be able to test for 48 hours.

Thanks for the ideas!

Damn! I didn't even think of Costco. I thought the large plastic model at AutoZone was a good deal for $10

I'm horribly afraid to show it to my wife or anyone else due to the giant "As seen on TV" endorsement on the cover. Sure wish they wouldn't have done that. Makes me look like a real jerk. Maybe I'll cover it up with some of this extra duct tape and plastic sheeting...
