Holy CRAP, BradB! You're better stocked than most of the Auto Parts stores in my area. And waaaaaaaaaay more organized!!

Small pickups have the advantage of convenience (everyone needs one for picking up mulch or car parts or furniture), height and, best of all, a single passenger seat, if you avoid extended cabs. We had a line on one, but it turned out to be held together with baling wire and rust, and that's TOO MUCH of a beater even for me. I don't want her hitting a pot hole and having the car fall to pieces...

Good choice, Ords!
And on top of it, it's going to be a manual, just an added bonus of others not being able to drive it or have her loan it out to others. She can learn on my MC as I want her to learn how to drive both, not just the ease of an automatic.

Oh I remember the parking lot fun.

Are those undercarriage washes the way to go in removing salt/sand/yucky stuff from winter driving? I have seen that option in some of the touchless automatics here but have never chosen one. They do a pretty good job of getting the MINI clean all except for the boot. She's too short for the spray to effectively reach the back of the car .
