How long till i can polish these?

So I got my interior parts today from the paint shop (had all the silver stuff body matched) and while aboslutely everything came home without any problems, the downtubes ended up with a couple of spots from the bubble wrap used to package them for the trip. Unfortunately the spots won't rub off with gentle rubbing with a terry rag. So the question is this, how long should I wait before I go at these things with some polishing compound. They were painted using colorrite urethane paint and catalysed clear coat and baked per the paint instructions after the final coat. I would think that a baked finish would be cured enough for polishing right away but then again if that were the case i wouldn't have this problem to begin with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had some plastic exterior parts painted (pics to come tomorrow, I hope) w/ urethane paint. They were baked at a slightly lower temp. than usual, but the master painter at the shop said no wax and no polish for 60-90 days!

I went to the best paintshop I could find... They had a half-dozen Porsches outside, a few Bentleys, 3 or 4 Ferraris and a Lamborghini in the shop. I figured that I was in good company and that they knew what they were doing...

i think with a mild abrasive like scratch-x, you can polish it right away.

i hate it when those body shops use bubble wrap directly against the
paint. they need to sandwich mirror/glass foam.

Polishing right away, no problem. Happens on every auto paint job.
Waxing, wait 60- 90 days as prev mentioned. Solvents need to out-gas and if you seal them in, fun (and bubbles) ensues.
