Zaino is Ridiculous

So while it was 70-something yesterday, I blew off some work and treated the Cooper to it's first Xaino treatment. It was mine too.

Good night! The black roof. . . OMG. I really think I hurt my eyes a bit. The reflection. Like looking at the sun.

I only got two coats on with a detail spray in between. But still. Amazing.

(Glad to have the weather, I wanted a little protection on the car before I go to the local test and tune next weekend.)

[Edited because in my excitement I spelled Zaino wrong. So wrong.]

Sounds fantastic! Well worth the effort when the payback is so great.

Yes, but did that shine hold up until today?

I'm practicing the clay bar/polish/Zaino on our minivan in preparation for doing the MINI. It's a neglected mess with tree sap and bird poop stains and some problems from leaving a vinyl bra on too long. Once I get the routine worked out on the square mile of minivan metal, then it's time for the MINI. So far, I'm really impressed with the job the clay bar did cleaning up the front end. Can't wait to get the Zaino on!

Cool! I Zaino'd my Mini in late October and it's beading like day one. Thank goodness, too.......It's heading below zero degrees this weekend and I would rather stay in by the fire!

70 degrees...phooey!

Yes. Yes it did. And today too. It's gotten a little dusty. And I have to admit the idea of simply spraying some stuff on the car and wiping it down is a little weird.

I put Zaino to the ultimate test last summer -- put it on my parents' 5+ year-old Taurus, which had never been waxed before (see https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=45459). I had hoped to apply two coats but circumstances interfered and I only managed to put down one.

Eight months later my mother still raves about the shine, will admit that if she spots another red taurus in a parking lot, she'll park next to it just because she knows that her car looks so much better!
