I live in Seattle, the land of rain, and I often have to park my MC outside. Not really a problem, but I have a MCS on the way and want to keep it in better condition, and am thinking about getting a car cover. Problem is that it often rains here so it is impossible to keep the car clean being too busy. So would it then be a bad idea to get a car cover as the car is sometimes dirty? And with all of the rain the cover would get dirty often too?

And if I do get one, would I want the cover to be breathable water resistant or waterproof? And I would love to get a cheaper one (under $100), any ideas?

It's waterproof and should provide decent protection.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. Its hard to keep my car clean with all of the rain around here, so maybe I will just go without.

 

You should also check out California Car Cover. They are actually made by CoverCraft who makes many of the brands of car covers on the market. You can learn about the many different types of materials available.

I have a several different covers for my different cars. You can even have sample fabric sent to you which I would advise.
