Beside my Cooper S, my second love is my Giant OCR 1 road bike. For those of you who do not cycle, I am speaking of my bicycle.

I have all the stuff so I have started detailing my bike. Wheels, tires, frame, the works, what a difference. Now, what's next?

 

Be very careful of tire dressings on bikes... They use a lot more of the tread than you think (loss of traction in a sharp curve is BAD) and if you get a bit on the rim, cantilever brakes will lose their bite.

I wonder what a few coats of Zaino would do to a bike frame... You could probably do 10 or so just watching TV one night!

 

I am glad you pointed out the dangers of going overboard on the wheels and tires. You are right and before riding, I "drag" the brakes to be sure they are working. By spinning the wheels and wiping agressively with a dry towel takes care of the tire tread.

Saftey is first and foremost in two wheel transportation.

I am not sure about ten coats, but three looks prety good.
