Why Is Zaino So Good?

Zaino comments..from others.
Just Zaino'd three weeks ago for the first time. Have to say I was completely satisfied with the results. I did the whole process on my six-month old MCS...clay bar (small pieces, I dropped it twice) Z5/Z6/Z2/Z6/Z2/Z6, follwed by another coat of Z2 the following weekend.....and the results were really impressive...and not just my opinion.
The first day after application as I arrived at work, one of the guys I work with (a bonafide "car guy") was crossing the street as I came around the corner. He stopped dead in his tracks and his mouth dropped. He knew I was doing it but was shocked at the results. Unsolicited comments have continued since. The best one, I thought, was from the tech at the body shop who installed my M7 grill on Friday. As I picked up the car, he comments..."Dude, you must wax this car every other day" . Oh yeah.
Comments: Definitely smaller pieces on the clay. I don't consider myself a clutz but I still dropped the clay twice. I used the Sonus clay lubricant with the Zaino clay and the job was pretty easy...significantly easier and much simpler than anticipated. Also, with the car being so small why bother with a machine?
Thanks to all the guys that provided the great instructions found on this forum, you all make the job easier and the results better. And although the advice is sometimes clouded in debate, in the end the information is fantastic. So whether you use the whole bar or smaller pieces, a machine or microfiber towel, the bottom line is our great little cars look goooood.

Hey Mario:
As a fellow Mini owner--blk/blk-- who also Zaino'd like you, I can share your enthusiasm for the products. Since mine was only 6 weeks new, I skipped the clay...every other step was identical. I also get compliments like yours.
I'd just like to add that we have BMW/MINI to thank as well. Look what we have to work with! All of the colors, the blacks, and whites are outstanding examples of a quality finish. It motivates me to want to keep it looking showroom fresh.
As we say in New Jersey, "Mini and Zaino, perfect together." (local humor)

It's interesting why people call it clay. I had to take a ceramics class this last year, really I HAD to, the only art I like is detailing my MINI , and the clay we use would scratch the paint on a car quicker than a key, all the tiny silica particulate matter in it would do absolute wonders for your car!
SO FROM HERE ON OUT, INSTEAD OF CALLING IT CLAY FOR SHORT, I SAY WE CALL IT PLAYDOH!
i need help

Pepper white problem

What I do wonder is why Zaino has not protected my pepper white Mini from some kind of yellow bug (or possibly poop) that doesn't come off. It seems to have permanently stained the finished. I even tried the clay bar... but nothing seems to get off. A faint yellow stain remains.
Does anybody have any ideas?

While we are on the topic of Zaino and Good, has anyone used the new Z8 Grand Finale? I'm thinking it would be great for putting on before long road trips to keep the bugs to a minimum. I'd be curious to hear the comparison between Z6 and Z8, especially with the difference in the price.
